Machinist ****! (not really ****)
So I was bored, and decided to teach myself how to do some machining. The lube flying all over was pretty distracting (I had to run it through the garden hose), but I got a rhythm going holding the Black and Decker drill in one hand and rolling the table back and forth with the other. Can't wait to tackle something a bit more complicated;

That was so friggin' cool I had to watch it twice! You are a very talented backyard machinist my friend. How many batteries did you wear out making that block? Your table maneuvering skills are second to none as well! You are the man (haha) I just sent that link to my brother in-law (manual machinist) to let him know he needs to start thinking of another carreer real soon as he will become a dinosaur in the very near furture. My son does that for a living. Not vehicle parts, aircraft parts. He loves his job because it's so fascinating. He takes a camera to work every now and then when he running a new part. It's so cool to watch these machines whirl and twirl, slice and dice - soon there is a part coming out where a block of metal sat.
