Finally hit the milestone of taking the ole truck for a short drive ( hooray). I didn't go far but it moves . It's been awhile since I have had a v8 , man it doesn't take much to get the rear tires to break lose lol. Can anyone tell me how to get some of the photos I've taken posted ?
Just uploaded some pics . Excuse the dust on the truck this ole boy has been in the garage for along time . I wish that I had my camera when I brought it home.
Thanks guys , yeah it was a major hurdle . Now on too the next one lol . If it wasn't for the info that I was able to get from this forum It wouldn't be this far along . Thanks Jim for telling me how to post the pics, I'm not one for this new hi tech stuff . My vcr still kicks my butt .
Yeah , the ole truck was pretty solid to start with .It was brought back here from south dakota about 10 yrs ago . I know the guy that brought it back , he was the mechanic for the hemmings motor news vintage autos . He sold it to a bodyman and it passed between several owners that had dreams of building it but never did much to it . Hey Vern ,it won't be long and the carshows start again . Man I can't wait it has been a long winter.
