Anything that is a diesel will run on it. From my early 70's David Brown up to the newest 6.4's. One thing though, if you're truck is still on warranty, don't do it. If it's comercially produced ok, but they won't honor the warranty if you use homebrew. No crows so far, just dogs and fat kids!

I don't know how you did it crew, but I know dad essentially just cold called the places he gets his from. But most places he uses are places he eats somewhat regularily, or he knows the owner.

On a side note, where all do you get your oil from crew?

Right now I'm getting mine from Chicken Chef. It's actually pretty dirty stuff. But it's worked out OK so far. I just talked to another restaurant in Rivers yesterday and I have a standing agreement with a small seasonal place in Hamiota as well. The latter two don't supply much, but the Chef is only enough for the PSD. I need more for the Nissan and tractor. So far, I've just cold called places. Best to do it in person and remind them that they are right now paying to get rid of it and I'll do it for free.
Trevor, your dad just getting his in boisevain right? Or does he come into brandon? I had Wendy's for a while, but I guess the corporate dudes didn't like it. The local franchise owner didn't mind. Make sure the stuff you're getting is oil and not grease. Oil is just SOOOOOO much easier to work with.
I had tried McDonalds as well, but I had just missed them as the city of Brandon got a contract with them for running city busses.

Cool i wll have to keep that in mind for sure. Next to just going out and swiping fuel bio diesel seems to be the cheapest way to go.

Dad gets his maily from outside the city I think. I know he gets everyone's in Deloraine, maybe a place or two in Melita, and one in Carivaele, SK. But he does get it from the Komfort Kitchen on 9th & Princess. Not sure if he uses any other places in Brandon or not.

No kidding. I think I might stay away from eating at Chicken chef. Been in their kitchen too. That doesn't help either. Sorry Trevor, I was thinking of the wrong town. My mistake. I like getting oil from the smaller places too. The oil is almost guaranteed to be cleaner. Only problem is, they use a lot less oil.
