Replace Struts?

Replace Struts?
I took my 2003 Expedition into the local Goodyear store last week for oil change and tire rotation. I've got 99,500+ miles on it, and have had no problems re the suspension. They advised that I should replace the struts....$800+, since Ford recommends it at 50,000 and I'm at 100,000. What do you think? Smart move? Or just $$ for Goodyear? Thanks. George

If you feel they are ok.. then dont do it, besides, goodyear is the worst place, (Expensive!!!!)those rats charged me $600 for pads and resurfacing the rotors, that was a long time ago, and I am still paying

find a local independent shop to do them...
tell them, "I bought struts, but i realized i don't have the time or tools to install them...would you mind installing them since i already bought them?"
if they say yes, hunt online for the best price for the ones you want...
