torque spec for front leaf spring please!
HI, I am replacing my 1996 F250 4x4 PSD front leaf springs. I know the ubolts are 100 pounds, but I get numbers all over the place for the front frame shackle bolt and the front and rear spring bolts. Thus, if you know the torque specs for those please reply.
Can anybody help me out. I called Ford, but they didn't know and said I could come down, in my taken apart truck, to read their books. Real lame FORD.

front spring shackle to frame - 150 - 210 lb-ft
front spring to shackle- 85- 120 lb-ft for both ends
all these are for 1996 F250 4x4 from the ford service manual.

As tight as you can get em + a quarter turn. Or till it strips and back off a quarter turn. Seriously though do the final tightening after the truck is on the ground resting on the springs.
