I've got a 1992 Fullsize Bronco, 5.0 V-8. The belt chirps, and I've read that this is caused by the misalignment of the water pump pulley, and that there's a service kit available. Does anyone know where I can get this kit, or a part number for it? My local Ford dealer's parts dept. had no idea what i was talking about. Thanks a lot, Dan
I'd replace the belt and the tensioner first. Try to determine the source of the chirping also. A bad bearing will do this (tensioner pulley and air pump pulley are most suspect IME).
Mine chirped to, until I put on a Goodyear Gator belt from Summit. Put one on the wifes truck, and she thought I put a new pulley in it. Worked great for me.
