Pcm Re-flash

I was looking at a used 05 F250, it had a Ford PCM reflash decal that read [ FICM-TCM 5U7A-12A650 CKC ]. Does anyone know what this reflash does?

there was a problem with some of the trucks computers. so ford "reflashed" them, instead of replacing the computers to fix the problem.
once this was done, the tag was put on to let potential new buyers know there was a problem with the truck, and it was fixed by ford.

Thanks for the reply TJC, I've heard that some of the reflashes also deactivated the pilot injection to save FORD form having to replace injectors under warranty, when that happens performance & mpg take a nosedive. That's what I've been hearing, It will turn me off Ford for good, I hpoe I'm wrong.
