something strange happened today
My wife had to borrow the truck today.(I hate to do that) Anyways, I picked up the truck shortly after she arrived at work. I started down the high way and the truck seemed to shift into overdrive and loose power. It shifted into overdrive like normal, around 50mph. I stepped on the go pedal to pass a car and it kinda bucked then down shifted and started going. It did this twice so I pulled over when I could and just did a once over to look for anything strange. When I got home and did a close inspection, I found the filter reminder was out of the filter housing. I can only guess it was blown out by some kind of back pressure. I pulled 2 codes for EGR low circ and I think low pressure. Any ideas and is the EGR covered under the 5yr/100k warranty? The only problems I have had with this truck is annoying oil leaks.

update
Well I got the truck back from the dealer. They replaced the turbo, said that caused the pressure problem and blew out the filter reminder. Also found the EGR codes and tried to clean it. That did not go well they said so it got replaced also. One other thing they said was the an oring for the turbo was bad which they think was causing the oil leak I was originally going to scedule an appointment for. I got 43k out of this turbo and EGR. The turbo says refurb on the sticker. Hopefully I get better life out of this set.
