the CAI will make your engine happier, but you won't see it in the MPG. just get your speedo recalibrated, maybe go to a bigger gearset (4.10?) or stick with 285.

The pro's are better looks and a little more give for a smoother ride. These trucks need bigger tires to start with. The cons are more money for the tires, more weight which is hard on the wallet at the pumps, and puts just a little more wear on front end components. If you're putting this much thought into it just buy the 305's and you won't be sorry.
