Caution using Inline Tube
Just a note to anyone contemplating using Inline Tube for preformed brake lines. Although they advertise "exact fit" make sure you verify lengths and fitting sizes prior to ordering. I recently received a set of OEM brake lines for my 1994 F250 with the wrong fittings for the rear wheel cylinders. This by itself was not a major problem but when I attempted to resolve the issue with customer service the person I talked to was incredibly rude. He told me that Ford continuously changes their wheel cylinders and Inline Tube cannot be expected to be an exact match for all applications. He got upset when I pointed out that if that was the case then Inline Tube should not advertise “exact fit”. I got placed on hold for what seemed an eternity and when he returned he made the comment “Look dude, you got two options, and I don’t want to here another word from you”. He hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Boy! Talk about a power trip! If it were me, I would go down to the parts counter in person and ask for the manager. Let him know your problem and how rudely you were treated. I'd be willing to bet dollars-for-doghnuts he'll make it right. You don't have to deal with some pee-on on a power trip!

Yeah the guy was an incredible jerk. Should have tipped me off to look somewhere else as he went off on a rant against American cars as I was placing the order. Unfortunately the transaction was over the phone so all I could do was to call back on their customer service line and ask for a supervisor. After a couple of lengthy discussions he said the best he could do was to send out a couple of adapters. I just thought I would post here so if anyone is considering using Inline Tube to be forewarned and to try elsewhere.
