The box can be rebuilt. If all that is wrong with it is the pitman(output) seal leaking, the seal only can be replaced. The seal is fairly easy to replace. Remove the pitman arm, remove the snapring holding in the seal, and replace the seal. The arm is usually hard to remove though. There are special pullers available to remove them. You can also buy a remanufactured box, but you will still have to pull the pitman arm off, since the reman box won't have a new arm on it. Hope this helps.
