down pipe and exhaust help
I'm fixin' to put exhaust on my early 99. I am wondering the best route to go? What size down pipe, what size exhaust pipe, muffler or no muffler? I'm goin to get a bts valve body and a DPtuner chip, after I get exhaust and gauges. I was hoping to have everything done before smokin in the smokies, but thats not gonna happen. Thanks in advance guys.

No, not really, some minor trimming of the exhaust shield bolts for a 5" pipe by the tranny. Heck, I simply took them out along with the clips and reversed most. Hopefully nobody will chime in with a backpressure issue for a turbocharged engine post because that horse has been thoroughly flogged.

I just need to decide if I'm going to go, what day I want to be there based on what I want to see because it may be a day trip for me or I may visit some friends outside Knoxville overnight, then return.
