tranny swap
my truck a 92 f 150 2x4 just ate its second tranny today e4od
i want to change it to standard has anyone done this
i have an out bronco with a 4 speed 4x4 i would put in all i need to know is would the clutch pedal bracket fit in my 92 auto where the bronco is cable clutch also will the stright 6 flywheel fit the 302

The 4x4 tranny will fit but you will have to use the transfer case. You would also have to have a new drive shaft. The flywheel won't work the balance is diffrent. I dont know about the clutch bracket. The 4 speed wont get you verry good gas milage. If you want a standard I would find a 5 speed transmission.

i know it wont give me good milage and it will get the transfercase (also the front end ) i just need to find out what flyweel to use i am really brokeand i have a 4 speed so thats what it has to get
