Question Steering Column

Before I go to pick n pull was wondering if anyone knows what year Ford
truck first used a steering column that had the shifting rod mechanism inside the column itself.

I believe about '65, but NumberDummy would know for certain.

First Ford column shift: 1940. It was a separate tube running along the right side of the column. Integrated column shifts came later in 1961 on some models. By 1967, the separate shift tube was gone except on Econolines.
