information on delivery holdup?
First time poster on this site. Any info would be greatly appreciated? Ordered a 2008 F-250 CC Lariat 4x4 6.4 diesel. Build date was 3-5-07. Released from plant on week of 3-16-07. Delivery to dealer was to be week of 3-19-07 to 3-23-07. I am aware of the recall for reflash of PCM. I have also been told of rail strike disruption , all info from my dealer. My dealer said it could possibly be several more weeks before I may have my new truck delivered. Bummer. I really need this truck because I already sold my 2000 f-250 super cab. Just thought someone might have more info on what is going on. My dealer has made several inquiries through Ford's network, including putting a [HOT Tag] on this unit. Thanks for all help.

I am really sorry to hear about your delay. I don't know what the reasons are for the delay but I do know that your dealer gets updates from the factory every Thursday on the status of trucks they have ordered. I suggest you call your dealer every Friday to keep yourself updated. I wish you luck on a quick delivery.
