New Auto HVAC unit??
The other day the fan stopped working for my heat/AC...
Took the truck into the dealership today and they say I need a whole new unit. How much you ask? $700!? Just for the unit! Anybody ever replaced one of these things? I'm hoping its just a plug and play fix and if that is the case I'll replace it myself from a junk yard piece but if its a pita I'll have the stealership do it.

What I understood is he was talking about the control unit, would a blower motor cost $700?? All the buttons appear to work when pushed, the condenser is turned on when the A/C button is pushed b/c the rear AC still works (when activated in the front). So I don't really know what to think.

I haven't had the best luck with this dealer in the past. I needed two little pins that connect the mirror to the adjusting mirrors as the ones that came with the mirror were the wrong ones and they told me I couldn't even buy the mirror, I had to replace the entire assembly. In other words, they weren't going to make as much money selling me one part so why not make EVERYONE buy the entire thing. What a crock...
