Cold Air Intake

I have a 1994 F150 with the 302 and a VERY restricted stock air box and plumbing. I would like to find a replacement that doesn't cost $200 for this old truck. Has anyone found anything that works well and allows the thing to actually breathe? Has anyone fabricated anything that seems to work and still retains the mass airflow sensor. Any thoughts?

in reality the stock box is not that bad.

get the scoop from a 4.9 engine and attach that to the ford air box.

it will allow the air to pull in from the front of truck.

There's nothing restrictive about the stock airbox except that on some models there was a reducer in the intake duct....The piece that goes between the grill and airbox. As stated, get one from a 4.9 or 460 truck or cut out the reducer. This system is already a cold air intake.
