guy wants to sell me a Donaldson Air Filter and a "white box" fuel filter set for $71.00 to my door....jump on it or not...they claim they are equal to Fram...thoughts???????
I'm not sure I would do it because I've never heard of people using fram fuel filters in the 6.0L. The only fuel filters I would put into your truck would be International or motorcraft.
Buy your fuel filters at the Int'l dealer and pay between $32 - $36/kit. There is a box end of the part number for your reference in my gallery under "fuel filters".
As far as the air filter... there are two types made by Donnalson... white color media is cellulose (paper) and the blue synthetic media which is the OEM version Ford uses. Obviously, blue synthetic (resistent to moisture) costs more... but water mositure and cellulose = mud!!!
Check some of the site sponsors for the air filter and/or just go to your dealer and have them do it (can be a pain to change). The fuel filters at the Int'l dealer are the cheapest anywhere... site sponsors, dealer or EBAY... and they are Racor/OEM made.
To much at risk to buy "unkown parts" for your 6.0L PSD.
