was looking through truck toyz gallery of their trucks and found this crazy setup of brakes. http://www.trucktoyzperformance.com/...p?imageid=5167
12 pitson Boss Brakes with your non traditional rotor. looks pretty cool but i'm sure expensive. the SSBC front calipers which are 8 piston are lik $1500. thought you guys would like to see.
I see a lot of caliper deflection with that setup. It's just too long. The middle of the caliper will flex outward under pressure instead of transferring the clamping force to the rotor.
If you want to spend that kind of money, make a custom hub that holds two stock sized calipers, one on the front of the hub and the other on the rear. Put stainless steel braided lines everywhere and you will have a better setup than that one IMO.
That sure is pretty! I love it when people do all that to their trucks, I just wish I could talk them into going elk huning with me, With all that chrome, the pretty paint, and the lift, I wonder how it would look rolling down the side of the mountain.
It looks nice, and probably runs well too, but how practical is it really???
