just curious
ok, me and my buddy lifted his 89 c/k1500 today for 20 bucks. 2 inch blocks in the rear and cranked the torsion bars. I was wondering, if I could give my truck a little bit of height as well, but dnt want a body lift. Any easy ways to lift a 2wd? or is it not worth the time and effort.

The only way to lift a twin I beam truck is with drop brackets. If you try to lift it with springs, you will only throw the alignment off. I would think you could use a system designed for a 4X4 because they both use the same frame mounts,twin I beam and twin traction beam.
