Dodge? Will they EVER LEARN?!

Ok.. So I'm heading to work on the Toll Road.. Gotta love it because its dead in Austin So here I am poking along and I see the famous black smog.. Got a 2500 Dodge infront of me hammering it.. Trying to look cool passing cars.. Which I couldn't figure out since there was like maybe 4 cars on the road.. So I roll up next to him.. He's got gauges, no badges.. Looks pretty stout.. So I think.. He looks over at me and I smile.. He rumps it and lets loose black smoke and takes off.. So I just keep driving while laughing because judging by my visual observation it wasn't too pretty..

So he backs off and rolls back to me.. I'm like ok.. What the hell is this dudes problem.. He starts lunging forward.. Like he's trying to get me to roll with him.. So I roll the window down.. Now.. Be forewarned I am laughing my rear end off!.. So.. Where was I.. Oh I roll the window down and he looks at me.. I point towards my fender.. Yah know the "Look baby, its a Ford, give it up".. He smirks so I said (Censored) it.. I recal'd the tuner the other day so I had the tranny tuned perfect.. We're doing 65 on the toll road.. I roll the throttle and kick it down a gear.. I start inching forward.. He lays down and billows.. So I rolled it all the way and that boost pegg'd 32lbs and I just left him.. He was trying hard to catch me..

Well.. Up ahead is the toll plaza.. From help of fellow friends I know there is a radar gun that hits out 30 yards from the toll plaza.. DPS sits by a screen behind the plaza building and when it goes off they roll out of a blind spot.. Well I slam on the brakes because I'm already at 110 (Scary in an 8k lb truck).. He screams past me, through the toll plaza and I just had a HUGE SMILE!.. All I could see was Christmas Colors

LMAO DPS nab'd his rear end passing through toll plaza at 105mph (Est).. I bet he won't play with a Ford again... I can only IMAGINE what that fine just turned into..

Hmmm..... was it a black Dodge 2500? When I was on my way up to Giddings to meet you, a black 2500 rolled up next to me on 290 and did the same thing. Saw he had guages on the pillar, but no other badges.

We rolled it up to about 100 but just then hit the outskirts of Giddings where it drops to 45 ! I let him roll through town ahead of me, and I pulled in at Micky D's and got fries and a shake.

I'm curious where he went myself.. But glad it's not me lol... I need to calm down on the street racing and take it to the track..

Or at least invest in a radar detector perhaps...

At a minimum I would keep an eye out for that truck and avoid it all cost. He might try to take his anger out on you or your truck. I would be very surprised if he didn't get arrested doing that kind of speed, especially at a toll plaza.

The last dodge I saw was indeed getting smaller and smaller (behind me) as I cruised up I-8 East... This poor guy was pushing that ***-a-part--over fueling like mad--dumping a massive column of black smoke, but not even getting close to keeping up let alone catching up. Wide open spaces let me hit 90 for a few seconds, but I backed out of it for my upcoming exit. As I exited down the ramp, he finally caught me. Nuthin' but rubber-neckin' as he rattled by with that big-dumb bewildered look on his face. I felt a little bad for him... for about 3 seconds.

Keep Smokin em Strorm.

Went to pick up a 6er at my local store. Saw a Superduty trying to jump a Dodge Cummings. Thought about taking a cell phone pic..... but the Dodge guy did not look like he was in a good mood at all.

Great story. I love it when other people get in trouble for doing the same thing you are (speeding) only you are smart enough to know when to quit.....That's good stuff Storm!
