Check this out: I have noticed that the last few times i have let my Bronco sit for over 2-3 days the battery is completely dead. Also, some of my accessories work when there is no key in the iginition, like my windshield wipers and my radio? Could it be my iginition switch? Could the battery be charging the coil still when the key is not in? Anyone have this problem?
I've had a vehicle where you could turn the key to "ACC" and then remove it (the key). Found the radio on the next morning. If your battery is good, I would look into the switch as a possible problem.
I had to go outside and mke shure my truck wasnt stolen! I have an 89' XLT with the same problem. I have torn apart the whole electrical system to no avail. A little while ago the injectors just stoped firing ive changed EECs relays and am back to tearin apart the electirical system. There has got to be something with this year and model cause ive heard it from others too. if i find something ill let you know. just letting you know youre not alone.
