I have had the Ck Engine on for a while. Recently had the computer code read and listed a lean condition. Changed the fuel filter but still has the condition. Before taking it to a dealer $$$$$$ is there anyone that has encountered this problem and fixed it easily? It has over 70,000 miles on it, a supercharger, K&N filter, easy flow exhaust, trailer package, and I changed to synthetic oil recently (after the light went on). Your comments are welcome, Thanks from always warm Puerto Rico.........
I've had mine come on twice and I replaced both upstream Oxygen sensors (replaced one the first time, light went out; the other one the second time, and the light is still out). I haven't replaced the one downstream one yet (behind the catalytic).
I have an 89 Bronco and I had check engine light problems before. I was getting codes for EGR, O2 Sensor, and a lean condition. I Changed the EGR valve body, EGR valve position sensor, and O2 sensor, reset my codes and still had the same problem. I was reading this forum and someone said to remove the throttle body and clean it. There was allot of carbon build up inside. After cleaning it, the engine idled much better and smoother and all my codes and check engine light went out. Good luck
