Disabling the key/ seat belt alarm

Has anyone disabled this alarm? I have already done the procedure in the manual for the seat belt, but can't get the alarm off when the key is in the ignition. I need for it to be off at all times. Any info would be appreciated.

Look in the 6.0 and / or Super Duty Tech Folders...I think both may have a procedure for what you ask. It is my guess that it will likely be the same for the '08s

The procedures for disabling the alarm for the 'key in ignition' will not work on the '08 Super Duty. The column is different and has the chip key. I need to know what color wire comes out of the column to activate the alarm.

My 05 Mustang has the chip key and I disabled the alarm. The instructions were in the owners manual.

I need to be able to keep the chime "off" at all times. My friend raises White Tail Deer and needs for the chime to be "off" as not to spook them when around their pens. I want to disable the chime/ alarm so that it never comes on. Disconnecting the plug under the seat for seat belt sets the air bag code, but will stop the chime when the key is turned on. I did the procedure, in the manual, but it does not eliminate the chime "at all times".

i do know that on the 07 if you cut the black wire with the pink stripe underneath the column it disables the chime at all times but who knows if the 08 is the same

The 2008 has a completely different steering column. The wiring, lock cylinder, and switch are different from previous models. I would need help from someone with access to the wiring schematics for this truck.
TIA,
Roland
