Throttle body spacer
Is it actually worth it's weight? I'm looking for every angle to improve the air flow in my 250 5.4 and I know nothing about a throttle body spacer. I should have a K&N installed by the end of the week and Flowmaster soon to follow. Is a spacer compatable with a K&N or is it even worth my time and coin?

Absolutely no worth it. Are those little groove going to make the air more turbulent?, and if so how does that help the cumbustion cycle? Oh it helps the fuel disburse better huh, So shouldn't the valves be spiral cut since they are the deadhead until they open.

TB spacers are, frankly, pretty much worthless on a FI engine. For carb'ed car they helped to allow the air and gas to mix a bit more. The ONLY maybe, perhaps, but doubt it advantage would be to reduce the temps of the main engine from reaching TB. In that regard, you are better off using a special type of gasket between the plenum and the main engine to reduce the possibility of engine temps from warming the air from the TB/plenum.
Unless you are looking to squeeze the every little bit of HP/TQ and building a racecar, save your money.
