Well its taken some time. . . and lots of trips to ACE and my buddies shop, but I got the H2E mounted. . . and it looks nice. I'll finish the welding on the pipes tomorrow and then make the intake. By the end of the week. . . we'll be rolling on a nice set of compounds. Hey what does anybody think about draining the H2 oil into the valve cover? Thanks.
Tim
I've had the hood closed oh yeah I even check clearance by putting a camera in there on the self timer and took a picture. There is a good two inches above the turbine section of the H2. And I have the pad on my hood too. I'm working on the manifolds right now. I scrapped a set I was working on. . . they just were looking terrible. . . I changed a few things around and rethought my design(went with slightly thicker metal) and I think its going to work well. I will for sure have it running by sunday. . . but if it all goes smoothly. . . friday is my goal. I think I'm going to run the oil feed from the plug behind the filter. . . and I'm going to just drain into the valve cover. Eventually I'll do the CCV mod but I'm going to use that oily residue to check for leaks Well I'll keep you all posted and pictures will be coming soon.
