I just cleaned the underside of my mower deck this weekend and I'm wondering if anyone here has some suggestions as to what I could coat it with. I've heard of some coatings that are made specifically for this application but I don't know how well they really work. I'm looking for something that will protect it from rust as well as help prevent the grass clippings from sticking. Any suggestions?
I've had good luck with a product called EZ-Slide. It's a graphite based coating and I've seen it at many farm/ag supply stores. I coated my mower deck with it 3-4 years ago and it's still in great condition
Also helps with mud from sticking to your boots and shoes. Oldest kid and his soccer team would spray their shoes when they were playing on muddy fields.
