I drive em cause I love the way they feel and for no other reason. They are big, hard to park, are fond of fuel stops, but feel solid as a rock and can pull the house down the highway if you are so inclined.
I don't drive an SD, but i drive an excursion. I drive it because i love to be high. I also like my towing mirriors to be like 2 feet out. Its also fun when tree huggers ask you why you fill up 44 gallons.
I drive mine because I love the way it looks, how easily it pulls my 5th wheel and despite what most people say, I think it's the most comfortable truck I've driven. Also, people are a little quicker to get out of the way when all they can see in the rearview is the big blue oval in the middle of the grill.
Because it has tons of power. Because its built like a tank. Because the crew cab is huge. Because its the best looking line of trucks on the planet by far. Because its to big to fit in my garage. I could go on.
i drive it because i have to. i need to move a race car around the east coast and the sd is the right tool for the job. trucks are about work and utility....cars are about fun!
Cab size, luxury interior, PSD, boat towing, landscaping, dirt carrying, family hauling, blizzard driving, VW towing, A$$ hauling . It gets better mileage than my old Durango R/T and is much more useful. Hoping for at LEAST 10 years out of it. Also hoping Bio-diesel becomes more readily available in the near future, here in CO(maybe by the time my 5/100 runs out).
