I am getting ready to change the fluid in my c6 and I want to install a transmission temp gauge since I tow heavy loads. Where do I buy one and how hard is it to install.
i would like to know about where the temp sender gets hooked up also i just had my tranny rebuilt and would like to install a temp gauge also i posted the same thing 2 weeks ago no replies do we have to drill the pan or is there a plug on the trans where we can install the sender
thanx for the info dave should be pretty easy then since i live in a apt. they kind of frown on working on vehicles here.I still sneak in some quality time tho
I have seen the T setups not a bad idea but a step further is those transmission pans have no drain plugs. Why not while it is off drill it use one of the adapter plugs with the install kit. Braze it in and not it serves as a drain plug and a place to mount the sensor.

The braze it in and not is supposed to be NOW but I can't type either. Just a big dummy with big fingers.
