Don't think so, couldn't match up any numbers. But, I do not have the car parts books. Ford-O-Matic was introduced in 1951 on Ford and Mercury (Merc-O-Matic, same as F-O-M) passenger cars (Lincolns used Hydramatic), but the only year truck with a flathead V8 that had F-O-M was 1953 (first yr for an A/T in a F Series truck).

The guy s threatning to swap out to a 302 auto and I just gotta make sure that don't happen, so his wife could drive it. If he can't find a automatic for his flathead.

Snowking,
Flat-o makes an adapter to use a more modern automatic Ford C-4 with the flathead.
