400 bored .30
badger flat tops(sorry tim, found this site to late ,would have went with your pistons)
comp cams 268h .494e and .494in,110 degree sep,
holly 650cfm
edelbrock performer 400 non egr
50k hei distributor, what might be a good setting? 8 degree advanced?
0 degree timeing chain
stock heads,no porting or polishing, just rebuilt
stock manifolds,no headers(in a 78 merc,no headers available)
duel exhaust 2.5 inch, cherry bombs for now

Reason: forgot something
i checked out your graph.all the info on the left hand column is correct, but the line graph says it is for a 255 deh with headers and a 600 holley.are the hp rateing the same?
i modified an existing file to generate that graph and didn't save it off with the changes, which is why the graph legend says 255deh and headers. but it should be correct for your build (at least as correct as the simulation allows...)
I have a similar request for hp and perhaps compression ratio if possible. I put a 265 deh cam in my 400, badger flat top pistons, edelbrock 1406 carb and performer 400 manifold, shaved the heads down 18 mils for higher compression, roller rocker arms, and roller timing chain/sprocket. Stock exhaust manifolds and stock single exhaust. Thanks.
