charging problems
I am having a problem with my 78 broncos charging system. I was down in the badlands this weekend for the suferlift adventure series and my truck was not charging. I has an extra alternator and voltage regulator so I changed them both. I am still having the problem. I can only assume that its a wiring issue. does anyone have or know where I can get ahold of a schematic? The wires are not in the greatest shape. I will rewire everything if I have to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

charging problems
Check your belts (I know you already did) and pull the voltage regulator off the fender wall. Sand the paint off where the screws go on BOTH the regulator and the fender. Use larger (oversize diameter) screws and re-attach. Now check and see if it is charging. That regulator to fender connection is the BIGGEST culprit for charging problems.
As for a diagram just replace the wires one at a time and only the bad ones.
