Oak bed planks

Does anyone know where I can buy just one oak plank for my 55 F100? The gas filler cap had been located on one of the planks, and it was just too messy. So I've moved the filler cap to a fender, and need to replace just one plank. So far, all I've found is entire kits.

The above link will give the dimensions of the boards you need. I would first try my local lumber yard and have them cut and plane the board. Barring that, Mid Fifty F-100 at 1-800-252-1956 are extremely helpful and friendly and may be able to help.. Good luck. Jim

Do you have a votec or technical school near you? The one I work at has a "construction trades" department with a full wood working shop. They make cabinets, tables, whatever in there. A board would not take them long.

A Roger Brown makes some bed kits for Mid-Fifty. I know Roger could fix you up with a single plank. His Phone # is (423) 638-3679.
