wipers and squeaky steering
My '97 F-150 wipers and or windshield washers come on all by themselves. Any comments? Also, when I turn my steering wheel, there's a low squaking like as if the tires were rubbing against a tile floor. I hear other F-150s sounding the same. What kind of problem is that?

wipers and squeaky steering
Just fixed my squeak last night. It's your Pittman arm. Ford has issued TSB's about this issue. Before replacing it (fairly inexpensive fix) try greasing the joints. You probably don't have a fitting on the part if it has never been replaced so get a grease needle and inject grease into the seal. It worked for me.
