I dug around in the forums and can't find a definitive answer to these two questions.
1) There is a bench seat from a '95 F150 in the local paper for $75. Is this reasonable? The seat in my '76 single cab is shot. Duno what is "too much"
2) I have the jump seats in my '76 super cab. Local law says my son can't sit in them till he's 6 yrs old AND 40lbs. That sux... it could be a while.
I've seen a few threads with people saying that I need to find another super cab and steal the rear bench at a junk yard. If supercabs weren't so rare around here, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Are there any "swapable" years in the 80s or 90s that I can swipe (rear bench)? Keep in mind I don't have any hardware or brackets. Do I have any options?
I was able to swap a 90's front seat into a 79 by swapping the lower brackets on the seat. The seat was a very nice upgrade. I have never delt with a rear seat, good luck on your search.
