Transmission matchup
I have a 1987 f-150 it had a 351 win but motor is blown, trans is good but I want to put my inline six into that truck, now will the transmission match up I don't know what type of transmission is because I have just recently picked this truck up and haven't looked at it.

The 351W, 302W and 300 six all use the same trans bellhousing pattern so you'll be good there. I think you will also need to change the chassis brackets for the motor mounts to the ones used for the six cylinder engine.
