I honestly think that if some1 sets and tunes a powerstroke up right, it might hang with the cummins. my cuzin has a powerstroke has at 865hp runs 1/4 miles in low 10s only once he got it at 9.86 in a 1/4 thats fast for a f350 4x4 supercab

i need to see a timeslip!!! haha is it street legal? cause if it is then it can't be true since i'm pretty sure the fastest street legal diesel is nastygirl, which runs like 10.2??

So a heavier truck with less HP than MDs truck runs damned near a three quarters of a second faster??
Please....don't spill the bong water when passing it over here....

Who is your "cuzin"? I would be willing to bet that if your statement is even close to being true, he didn't get there without the help of a good forum. When you are building big hp, information is the key, and you ain't gonna get the information needed to build "865hp" at your local machine shop. I'm sorry man, but that's a hell of a statement to put on here without proof.

A PowerStroke with 865HP?? Not that I've heard of on ANY of the forums.

i know of one with a 50 grand motor... it's in an 02 body i believe... pumping around 1050 hp at the wheels no drugs runs i think a 10.3 or so... nowhere near street legal though
like i said, completely built... haha it WAS a 7.3... but now it's kinda like a... freak of nature... like it doesn't use the psd fuel system or anything... i guess what i'm saying is it's not really a psd... it's kinda just a 7.3l monster with a psd block
Agreed. The highest hp 7.3 at this point I believe is run by Brian Kenney. The rig sports a 775hp 7.3. no way would a 7.3 make 900hp Glass.
Cowboy Steve
i'm gonna have to strongly disagree with you guys.... i mean yeah you haven't HEARD of anyone pumping anything over 800hp out of a psd... but look at all these sled pulling psds... you're telling me that none of them are over 800hp??? i strongly doubt that... i mean bigbaddiesel is estimated at 1800hp right now with his 12v cummins.... but noone ever talks about him leading the hp wars do they?? (check the site www.bigbadiesel.com) and from what i've heard on other forums there is something in the making that will put the 7.3's well into the hp wars... Brian Kenney is a drag guy. His truck is Pyschostroker. It was on the cover of last months Diesel power mag. These 7.3's arent capable of that big of numbers. Trust us on this, lol

I would get a late model 7.3, I got a friend that put dual-turbos, chip, propane, and too many other goodies to list, on a 7.3 and it will haul some serious butt. He's one of the only person I know that has broken a Dana 70 from launching his truck off out of a redlight.
