Tim, sorry but that didn't come out like I meant it. It does have F3 stamped on the cowl but doesn't really have a "PA" stamping. I forget what the code is but it is for a plant located in PA (which I can't remember right now due to brain fade). There was a thread on here a few weeks ago about the PA plant being closed in recent years and even a picture of it. The truck was originally vermillion as far as I can tell.

Don't know where these were, but could one be PA? Chester; Edgewater; Somerville. (none of these plants were still listed in 1957).

If the Pa is in the paint code location, I'm 90% certain it would be a Norfolk truck as that is the only plant I've come acrosss that used two letter paint codes. Always put the letter "P" in fron of the single letter code that everyone else used.

I would love to see a picture of it Vern.

Take a look at the LMC Trucks Online Catalog at LMCTruck.com , Page 9 of the early Ford Truck Catalog "Chassis ID" includes a listing of all the Ford information including the two letter Assembly Plant codes for the 1952 and the one letter Assembly Plant codes for the 53-56 trucks. Also not a bad place to find parts.
