control arm adjuster's

Question for you guy's,, I have a 2000 F150 2 w.d. 4.2, manual transmission I am replacing the upper and lower control arm's, don't want to sound like an idiot, but,,,,,,,, where in the world does the cam adjuster's go ?? I have read that you should install them if you replace those part's, but my old one's don't have them an i can't see where they would go, also, should i install them in both the upper an lower ? can some one please help me out, or point me to a link that will ? Thank you

The adjustments for camber and caster are on the upper control arm's only.

If you are replaceing the factory parts. They're just a mostly square/flat metal plate. If they are adjustable aftermarket, they are round with a offset hole that the bolt runs through.

Thank you Bob, I am replacing them with factory, the ones that i took off does not have the adjusting bolt in them, from what I read on here, and other site's, they recommend putting in an adjusting bolt, well i purchased that, but i can't tell where it is supposed to go, because the old one did not have it. Were should it go ? It look's like from the holes, it goes in the rear, is that all there is to them is a bolt, with an oblong washer attached, any help would be appreciated.

Thank's
Billy
