Good enough fuel pump?
Sorry 'bout all the posts lately guys, I'm finishing up my '79 460 build soon, and all the last minute things are popping up. What level of performance will an OEM replacement manual fuel pump support? The late '60's big blocks had 365-375 hp, so would a manual pump from that era be better? My computer dyno program says I should be in the 440hp/500 ftlb range. What pump do I need?Thanks in advance from the frosty north.
