flywheel/starter
Heres one for you.
My wife parks the bronco on slope with the front facing down hill. When she went to turn it over it sounded like the flywheel was being blown to a million pieces. I crawl under and the starter it all tight. So I jump in and put her in neutral let her coast foward a ways and she starts with no noise. I back her up the hill again, put her in park and same noise. Put her in neutral on the slope, no noise. So then I pull her out the drive and pull in the other way, rear facing downhill, put her in park, starts no noise. Now Ive got cracked flywheel teeth and would like to figure out why before I go thru the pain of replacing it. Thank you.
