<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">Alright dumb question,
I have a 96 F250 7.3 ltr diesel power stroke truck which is currently a 2wd truck. Is there anyway that I can convert this into a 4wd truck. I know I wouldnt be able to do it myself, but is there a place out there that can do that? Also how much approx am I looking at if they can do it.
It can be done. The parts are all available. Best to find a donor truck with 4x4 to swap parts. Otherwise it'll nickel and dime you even at a junkyard.
It can be done. You have to notch the frame for the rear shackle and weld a shackle on there. From there parts bolt on. You'll need tranny, transfer case, and axle. Those will run $2500 right there. The parts list goes on and on.....
