distributer help.....
i have a 390 that i just bought and when i tried to set the timing , with the timing advanced as far as i can until the vacum advanced plug hits the intake it will only go up to bout 8 deg BTDC. Is the timing a tooth off or what, Im lil lost on this one, i have a couple ideas but im sure some of you know alot more than me.......Thanks.............Mack

wire rotation
Rotate the wires towards advance, CW, one tower. Now rotate the dist body one tower CCW. The wires are back where they were in relation to the rotor, but you should have plenty of room to rotate to the desired degree of advance without interference......aMP
