I am a neew guy. Stopping in to say hello.

I drive a 2003 Excursion. I came here because I am looking to do some stereo work in the UAV (Urban Assualt Vehicle) and am currently looking for ideas and new door panels.

As of now, they system will consist of

HU: Eclipse 8053 (3 way active)
Speakers: Dayton 6.5 midbass
MBQ Mid Range
Dayton Tweets
Subs are undecided.
Amps: Xtant for the time being (they run balanced)

As for myself, I am a maint. tech. who should have been a mechanic. I guess what I do is close enough. I am a SoCal transplant to Minnesota......can someone tell me why I did that?

As big as the Excursion is, wouldn't it be easier to just stick a live band in the back? lol!
