When I drive on the highway at 55-60 after about 45 min a vibration starts to come from the tranny. I've had the fluids replaced and I had a leak on my 9" diff that I had fixed. I'm getting ready to move to S.D. in June and I think when the tranny gets hot enough it starts the vibration, there is no difference in drive I think, sometimes it feels like it's struggling I'm not sure. Should I have it rebuilt before I leave or add some additive like a slick 50 product for tranny's? I'm a little nervous about this long drive!!
I had the exhaust fixed with stock... I'll worry about a better exhaust when I rebuild everything.
I wonder if a bearing in the axle is bad?

I had a similar problem with my 90 351 EB. At speeds around 40-60mph the truck would start to vibrate and it turned out to be my driveshafts needing new ujoints and ball and needle bearings in the double cardan joint. Check it out, but I doubt it is your tranny.

To check those joints you really have to take them out. Allot of times a joint will not appear or feel loose but in fact it may be seized (been there-done that). I agree to check all the joints and lubricate them.
