Question

belt help

my 91 f150 is sliding belts off of the crank pulley and it's driving me crazy this is the second belt I have shredded I think one side of the pulley is lower than the back side of it and it is letting the belt slide up over the front lip and I can feel the edge of the belt on the front part of the pulley and I can't on the back side of the pulley can anyone help with this problem thanks.

My first guess would be a bad idler pulley, it may have a worn bearing or possibly be seizing up on you. Most parts house carry them and the tensioner.

I agree with Tom, more than likely the idler pully is causing your problems
