Does anyone know if sgi is going to put a list of there wrecked vehicles online? Right now all you can view is the Bid items. If your looking for a specific car or truck you have to phone them or visit the yard. Im interseted in buying a reg cab long box dakota for the frame. It has the perfect wheel base for my tri-five chevy line lol and the tracking width is also perfect. Now all i have to do is find out the width of the frame .
No Chris, all SGI has on line is the bid units all over Sask.
It looked like they might some day have the non bid ones listed but one of their staff said it was highly unlikely.
Oh well phone calls are cheap and if they had anything i liked they could probably email a pic with the specs.I,m searching all over the web and haviving a tough time finding info for the Dakota frames. Maybe some sort of collision data book or something like that would have all the dimensions.
I`m not sure what you mean by tri-five c***y, but Kelvin at Kelvin`s Wheel 955-5552 is a hot rodder big into the 55 c***y and maybe of some help.
He had a frame shop before this one and if he`s in the mood maybe able to help.
yeah, when i hear tri-five i think chevy, and I am not ashamed to say it, i love those cars, one of My uncles drivers buddies is doing a 56 2dr post and i will gladly say I'm in love with that car. all the body work is being done with lead, no plastic fillers......absolutely beautiful car. I've worked on a few tri five pickups too, they ain't teh nicest to work on, but look darn good when done
Yeah they don't post a list of cars in the yard due to the wreckers come and buy cars and they have not the time to clear them from the list. You can request they put your name on the list for such truck with a good frame. Or try advertising on the free web sites for around here. Like mysask, forsaleforrent, kijiji, usedstoon and see what someone comes up with for you.
