Cool Bad MPG

Alright I am down to 11.5 mpg today when I filled up and am starting to get realy mad and concerned and this is hand caculated every time I fill up. I live in florida so temps are always up and I don't think any winter blend fuel but that shoud be over by now if it was here. I just did the hutch and harpoon two weeks ago and expected a littel increase cuz I was down to 13 but instead it just kept going down. I checked the hutch mod for any leaks and can't find any and the engine sounds good still so I do not think it is that. I am going to buy a fuel filter and change that out but it isen't due for another 5k so I dont think that is it either but will rule it out. Tried checking my turbo boots and they were a little lose with lots of black soot on them I tightened them but I think I may need to go take them all off and clean then and put them back on to rule that out. Any other suggestions here guys? Just am starting to get upset about 11 mpg when i was getting 16 2 months ago.

You may be seeing the effect of the new ULSD fuel, it has made my milage go down 2-3 even though I use DK every tank. A loose I/C boot will rob power, and milage, so get those cleaned up after you do the CCV mod, that way you won't have to do it again.
Try that and get back on here with the results.!

Thank guys! Guess I will be doing the CCV mod asap now and then clean my boots. And yes I tightened some of them but didnt have enough time to do them all and if u say u got down to 10 then I have a feelin thats my problem, or at least I hope. I will take them all and clean them and then tighten them all and see what happnes. I had a feelin this was it but was not for sure. Ill post back as soon as I get it done. Thanks.

Four boots connecting the IC to the turbo on hot and cold side. Look at the turbo, where the intake leads to, from there you will see two rubber "boots" connecting to a hot tube on the right side and a cold tube on the left side. Both these metal tubes lead to the IC next to the radiator and again they connect through rubber boots. On each boot there are two clamps, 8 clamps total. I will now tighten them every two months after my loss of mileage.
