lights out
I'm in the process of restoring my truck. It has sat for the last 6 years and not moved. Right now I can't start it and I'm about to replace the coil, but my problem isn't that right now the head lights and interior lights won't come on unless I'm cranking it over, I don't know where to begin with fixing this, any ideas?

Sounds like a dirty or corroded connection and it's backfeeding through the ignition switch. Clean all the connections on the battery and solinoid the get a wiring schematic and check the wires at the fusebox,ignition switch and headlight switch. The Haynes manual for these trucks has a schematic in it.
