bed mat

I Just got new maple boards to put in my 66, and I had a sudden dilemma of not wanting my dog in the bed of my truck gouging my maple bed like they do to the maple flooring in my house. Wondering is anybody had a good Idea on cheap alternitive to a "bed mat" or a place to find one with a ford logo to fit in a 66 stepside. Thanks for everyone's help Gary

Gary, Have you considered trimming the dogs nails? Maple is a pretty hard wood.

Can't trim them back far enough.
A rubber bed mat would be perfect for you. They provide good traction for doggie paws.
I'm not a fan of dogs in open beds, however.
